Theatre - The Twilight Radio Show (Lunar Landing Laugh-along-special)

Co written and performed with Mariana Barbera, this spoof radio show was 'aired' in front of a live studio audience and featured 'popular' DJ's Lupe Lu & Stewy Stu. They have built up a steady following of loyal (you might say die-hard) fans who love to tune into their Twilight Radio Show for a mix of music and entertainment.

They returned to the 'MGBFM Studio' by special request to perform their second live show after their sell out debut performance the previous year.

It was 50 years ago in July 1969 that NASA made the seemingly impossible happen when it landed humans on the moon. Audiences were invited to come along and  laugh like Cadbury’s Smash aliens as they took a sideways swipe at the greatest achievement of the 20th Century in this commemorative ‘lunar landing laugh-along special.’

With their usual mix of humorous short radio plays, weather reports, news, sport and chit chat, Lupe Lu and Stewy Stu clogged the airwaves once again with the Twilight Radio Show!

Audience feedback:
